Diagnostic Writing

I think my strongest attributes as a writer is making the reader feel the emotions I put into the writing. Since I like imagery, I also tried to put a lot of imageries into as well. I have a lot of concerns about my writing because I think I'm a really bad writer myself. One of the concerns is putting my thoughts into papers. I'm bad at organizing my papers. I'm not so sure how to put stories in order. Even if I understand what I'm trying to say but other people couldn't. Sometimes when I write, I feel like I added too much details which people confused. These are the things that I need to improve upon in this class. As well as, using more academic words in my writing also.

Qualities of Good Writing

A piece of writing that made a significant impact on my life was Kindred because it contains imagery and a lot of symbolism that makes us think more harder and makes connections throughout the book. What stylistic qualities and/or content made that writing so impressive? -Some writings provide deep meaning which makes you interpret them in any way you want, without having to be afraid of whether the way you interpreted was wrong or right. It also provides good imagery which makes it more fun to read, because it's like you were watching a movie while reading it, which helps you get a better image of what happens as well. Writing is also powerful in another way because it could make you feel the emotions and more retable to the pieces you read. Obviously, it also helps us stay organized, or else the readers won't understand what you are trying or the message you are trying to give off.

Major writing #1

In the assignment, we're gonna do a research by finding 6 sources from academic and non-academic sites. This assignment will specifically focus on helping improve your writing and understand more about rhetoric. It also helps you properly use and get the information from different sources, and as well as how to properly cites the citation into your writing.
